X. INTERNATIONAL ONLINE VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTAL COMPETITION

“INTERNATIONAL FOLK MUSIC”

 


 

§ 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. The Organizer of the X. International Online Vocal and Instrumental Competition ArtPremiumFestival “International Folk Music”, hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”, is ArtPremiumFestival.
  2. The Competition is international in character and is held entirely online.
  3. The objectives of the Competition are:
    • to present vocal and instrumental talents;
    • to promote folk and traditional music of different nations;
    • to promote cultural heritage through music;
    • to develop artistic interests among children, young people and adults;
    • to provide participants with an opportunity to compare their skills with performers from other countries;
    • to support young artists in developing their artistic careers.
  4. Participants may present works inspired by folk, traditional and regional music, as well as the musical cultures of different nations and regions of the world.
  5. Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Regulations.

 


 

§ 2. PARTICIPANTS

  1. The Competition is open to participants from Poland and other countries.
  2. The following may participate in the Competition:
    • soloists;
    • duos;
    • vocal ensembles;
    • instrumental ensembles;
    • vocal and instrumental ensembles.
  3. The Competition is open to children, young people and adults.
  4. A participant may submit more than one piece; each submission is subject to separate competition evaluation.
  5. A participant may enter several categories provided that they meet the requirements specified for each category.

 


 

§ 3. AGE CATEGORIES

K1 – 🎵 up to 10 years old

K2 – 🎵 11–13 years old

K3 – 🎵 14–17 years old

K4 – 🎵 18 years old and above

K5 – 🎵 Ensembles

For individual participants, category eligibility is determined by the participant’s year of birth.

For ensembles, category eligibility is determined by the year of birth of the oldest member of the ensemble.

 


 

§ 4. REPERTOIRE

  1. Each participant presents one competition piece.
  2. The piece should be related to the theme of the Competition, in particular:
    • folk music;
    • traditional music;
    • regional music;
    • national music;
    • folk music;
    • world music.
  3. The following are permitted:
    • traditional folk songs;
    • works stylized as folk music;
    • contemporary arrangements of traditional music;
    • works inspired by the culture of a particular country or region.
  4. The piece may be performed in the participant’s native language or in any other language.
  5. The Organizer may accept a piece that falls outside the strict theme of the Competition if its character remains connected with broadly understood musical culture.

 


 

§ 5. APPLICATIONS AND RESULTS

  1. Applications will be accepted until 14 September 2026 via the application form available on the Organizer’s website.
  2. The participant shall include in the application form a link to the recording on YouTube or TikTok. The video must not be private. The recording may come from a live performance or another recording and must not be modified or edited.
  3. After verification of the application, the participant will receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of the application.
  4. The list of performers qualified for the final stage will be published on 20 September 2026 on the Organizer’s website, www.artpremiumfestival.pl, and on the Organizer’s Facebook page.
  5. The list of Laureates will be announced on 25 September 2026 on www.artpremiumfestival.pl and on the Organizer’s Facebook page.
  6. The accreditation fee confirming participation in the final stage of the “International Folk Music” Competition is:

    • PLN 100 for soloists or duos;
    • PLN 150 for ensembles.

    In the payment reference, please provide the participant’s first and last name and the name of the Competition.

    After making a payment via PayPal, BLIK, Przelewy24 or Google Pay, please send proof of payment together with the participant’s first and last name to:

  7. Details concerning the payment will also be sent by e-mail to participants qualified for the second stage.
  8. The accreditation fee is mandatory for participation in the final stage of the Competition.

 


 

§ 6. JURY EVALUATION

  1. The Jury evaluates the recordings according to the following criteria:
    • vocal qualities;
    • interpretation of the piece;
    • choice of repertoire;
    • overall artistic expression and emotionality of the performance.
  2. The decisions of the Jury are final and not subject to appeal.
  3. The Jury does not conduct consultations with participants, parents or instructors.

 


 

§ 7. AWARDS

🏆 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place, as well as Honourable Mentions, will be awarded in each category.

Each winner will receive a commemorative diploma.

The Jury reserves the right to award a cash prize, GRAND PRIX, or a unique commemorative trophy with a personalized engraving to an outstanding Laureate.

Diplomas confirming the title of Laureate of the X. International Online Vocal and Instrumental Competition “International Folk Music” will be sent immediately after the announcement of the Competition results to the e-mail address provided in the application, in PDF format.

Laureates who wish to receive a paper version of the diploma are required to send their complete postal address for delivery by post within 7 days from the date of announcement of the Competition results.

Diplomas will be sent by post exclusively to persons who provide a delivery address within the specified period.

 


 

§ 8. RIGHTS TO RECORDINGS AND MATERIALS

  1. The participant declares that they hold the rights or have obtained the necessary permissions concerning the submitted recording.
  2. The participant shall be responsible for any infringement of third-party rights related to the submitted material.
  3. The Organizer may use fragments of competition recordings and information about Laureates for the purposes of promoting the Competition and the activities of ArtPremiumFestival, in accordance with applicable law.
  4. In the case of minors, the appropriate consent of a parent or legal guardian is required.

 


 

§ 9. DEADLINES

  1. Application deadline: 14 September 2026.
  2. Announcement of finalists: 20 September 2026.
  3. Announcement of results and Laureates: 25 September 2026.
  4. The Organizer reserves the right to change the deadlines for important organizational reasons.

 


 

§ 10. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

1. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. Pursuant to Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”, we hereby inform you that:
  2. The controller of the personal data processed is ArtPremiumFestival.
  3. The principles governing the controller’s responsibilities concerning the fulfilment of its obligations regarding the protection of personal data obtained in connection with this Event are governed by the applicable legal provisions.
  4. The Organizer will process the personal data of Competition participants voluntarily provided in the application form, including:
    • participant’s first and last name;
    • participant’s age (optional);
    • name and address of the institution represented by the participant;
    • artistic programme prepared by the participant;
    • participant’s contact details (e-mail address and telephone number).
  5. The data will be processed for the purpose of organizing and conducting the Competition in accordance with the Competition Regulations.
  6. Participants’ personal data may also be processed for the purpose of promoting the Organizer’s activities and promoting persons presenting their artistic skills during the Competition.
  7. The legal basis for processing the personal data referred to above is the participant’s voluntarily given consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
  8. Withdrawal of consent may result in the inability to participate in the Competition or to determine and announce the Competition results.
  9. The legal basis for processing may also be the legitimate interest of the data controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, in particular in connection with pursuing or defending potential claims, handling complaints and retaining data for archival and evidentiary purposes in order to secure information that may be required to establish facts for legal purposes.
  10. Competition participants have the right to access their personal data and, subject to applicable law, the right to:
  • rectify their data;
  • erase their data;
  • restrict processing;
  • data portability;
  • object to processing;
  • withdraw consent at any time.
  1. The Competition participant authorizes the Organizer to use their first and last name for the purpose of informing the public about the Competition results.
  2. The Organizer declares that participants’ data will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be subject to profiling.
  3. Data processed for the purposes of the Competition may be disclosed to external entities where required or permitted by applicable law.
  4. Personal data will be processed throughout the duration of the Competition and after its completion until the expiry of limitation periods for claims arising in connection with the Competition, in accordance with applicable law, or until the participant withdraws consent to the processing of personal data, where consent is the legal basis for processing.
  5. In the case of minors, all required consents must be provided by their parents or legal guardians.

 


 

§ 11. FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. Submission of an application to participate in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Regulations.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to use fragments or the entirety of recordings and photographs of participants for promotional purposes related to the Competition.
  3. If a participant removes their recording from YouTube or a similar platform, or if the recording becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Organizer’s control after the accreditation fee has been paid, the recording will be evaluated using the lowest possible score, as the Jury will no longer be able to assess the performance.
  4. In the event of a violation of the Competition Regulations, the Organizer has the right to disqualify the participant.
  5. In matters not regulated by these Regulations, decisions shall be made by the Organizer.
  6. In matters of dispute, the provisions of the Polish Civil Code shall apply.
